What We Do

Centre-GPMI works to bring the promise of genomics and precision medicine to everyday healthcare in Nigeria and across Africa. We conduct research into the genetic and molecular factors behind common diseases, train the next generation of scientists and clinicians, and build public understanding of what precision medicine actually means for patients. Our goal is simple: make sure African populations are not just studied by genomic science, but are active participants in shaping it.
